Data Rights

In data protection law, people have rights over their data. Where PCVdigital Limited (“PCVdigital”) holds your personal data, you have the following rights:

The right of access – you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold. This is also known as a subject access request - or SAR – we have one month to respond to your request.
The right to object means you can object to specific processing of your personal data, for certain purposes unless PCVdigital has a good reason to continue.
The right to be informed means that PCVdigital makes available a privacy notices that states:
- why we processing people’s personal data
- how long we keep the data for; and
- who you’ll be sharing it with.
The right to rectification means you can ask us to correct their data if it isn’t accurate. Where we are provided with data from Third Parties, we will help you make your request to that Third Party.
The right to erasure means you can ask PCVdigital to delete your data if we no longer have a valid reason to hold your data.
The right to restrict processing means that under certain circumstances you can ask us temporarily stop processing your data. We can store your data, but not use it. This isn’t an absolute right.
The right to data portability gives your more control over your data where it’s held electronically if it's personal data you have supplied to us. This right only applies when the controller is relying on ‘consent’ or ‘performance of a contract’, and if we are processing the data by automated means.
Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling - if personal data is processed entirely by automatic means and this might have a legal or similarly significant effect on you, you can request some human involvement in the processing. At PCVdigital we do not undertake automated decision making or profiling in relation to your data.
